At a preliminary meeting of the NPT
Preparatory Committee on May 8th, representatives of the United
States, European Union and France emphasized on Iran stopping its ballistic
missiles and the necessity to fully abide by the nuclear deal.
“The International community must be
prepared to respond to any violations of Iran’s commitments… the United States
will also continue to hold Iran accountable for its other destabilizing
activities in the region, including missile development and support for
terrorism,” said US Ambassador Robert Wood at the meeting.
