Asharq Al-Awsat: Iran Becoming Occupier of Syria

NCRI - Asharq al-Awsat published a document on Iran’s meddling in Syria provided by Nasr alhariri, head of the Syrian opposition in the Geneva talks, at the end of the sixth round of these negotiations.
“From the first days of the Syrian revolution, Iran has been strategically calculating to stand alongside the Bashar Assad regime and cloak its crimes. This has reached the point of Tehran directly taking part in their crimes. Currently, Iran has become the occupier of Syria and this occupancy is through social fabrics and its military infiltration,” the piece reads.
“We consider it the right of the Syrian people to accuse the Iranian regime of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Syria, and follow up in this regard,” Hariri added.
